Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account or use guessIo. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

• To access most features (Multiplayer, Leaderboards, Match History, Private Rooms, and Profile), you must sign in with Google.
• Usernames must be 3-30 characters and may contain letters, numbers, and underscores only.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Only one active session per account is permitted at a time. Logging in on a new device will automatically sign you out of any other active session. If a match is in progress on the session that gets signed out, it will be recorded as a forfeit.
• You may delete your account at any time. This will remove your username, email, password, and display name from my systems and sign you out everywhere. Match and round records involving other players will be retained in de-identified form so their history remains accurate, as described in my Privacy Policy.

You may play certain modes, including Practice Mode, without creating an account. Guest progress is stored locally on your device only, is not saved to my servers, and will be lost if you clear your browser data, switch devices, or uninstall the app. Guest play does not earn rating, points, achievements, or a place on any leaderboard.

By playing guessIo, you agree to follow the Game's rules and mechanics, including but not limited to:

• Match types: Casual, Ranked, and Private Room matches, each with different effects on rating, points, and match history, as described in-app.
• Fair play and idle penalties: if a full rotation passes without a valid guess, a warning is issued; a second consecutive occurrence will cancel the match and apply a rating and points penalty to all remaining players, as described in-app.
• Forfeiture: leaving a match, disconnecting beyond the reconnection grace period, or logging out during a match may be recorded as a forfeit and may affect your rating.
• Simulated players (bots): matchmaking may fill empty seats with simulated players to keep matches starting promptly. This applies to Casual and Ranked matches alike.
• Rating, points, and achievements: these are calculated according to the Game's internal rules, which may be adjusted, rebalanced, or expanded over time as the Game is updated.

I reserve the right to modify gameplay mechanics, matchmaking behavior, rating calculations, achievements, and related systems at any time to improve the Game.

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, automation tools, or any third-party software to gain an unfair advantage
• Exploit bugs or unintended behavior instead of reporting them to me
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another player's account
• Interfere with or disrupt the Game's servers, matchmaking, or infrastructure
• Use the Game for any unlawful purpose

I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at my discretion.

guessIo offers a Support feature that allows players to voluntarily contribute funds to help support server costs, ongoing development, and new content. Contributions are voluntary and do not unlock competitive advantages in gameplay. Contributions are processed through a third-party payment provider, and applicable transaction terms (such as refund eligibility) will be presented at the time of payment. Contribution tiers or recognitions (such as a Supporter, Backer, or Champion status) may be introduced or changed at my discretion.

I maintain a Discord community linked from within the Game. Participation in Discord is optional and governed separately by Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, as well as any rules posted within my Discord server. I am not responsible for content posted by other users in that community.

guessIo, including its name, logo, branding, game design, code, and content, is owned by Elvis or my licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Game. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Game except as permitted by law or with my prior written consent.

I may suspend or terminate your access to guessIo at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that I believe violates these Terms, harms other players, or harms the Game or me. You may stop using the Game and delete your account at any time.

guessIo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. I do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elvis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use guessIo, even if I have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

I may update, modify, or discontinue features of guessIo at any time. I may also revise these Terms from time to time. If I make material changes, I will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
